these theaters aren't so bad. seats are comfy, screen huge, and like the previews/commercial format. my name is earl is actually a funny show. i'd recommend to all. it has jason lee who you should all know. and ethan suplee who was the fat guy in blow and the fat guy in the butterfly effect. not the fat guy in varsity blues, contrary to popular belief. the legend of zorro is gonna be gay. you know those movie commercials about those kids who are "making a documentary" about random crap around the country? are they ever gonna release it? otherwise these commercials are pointless. the family stone looks pointless and dumb and not funny. north country has potential. memoirs of a geisha has potential. i'm not usually a fan of feel good sports, come from behind movies, and glory road is no exception.
Flightplan (2005): not accurate with how flight operations actually are run. a little over dramatic. are those computers really in planes i wonder? those are pretty sweet. most of the movie was unrealistic. the air marshal was a joke. flight attendants too and i can see why they are so mad at disney because of how they are portrayed. i do hope julia is still alive and jodie doesn't pull a beautiful mind on us. that movie sucks because none of it was real. it's a disney movie so what can you expect? hokie. not worth seeing.
carwash, groceries, living room stuff, laundry card, bed, chipotle, cds, blog, laundry
i want to go to howard university's homecoming. the rap stations are making such a big deal about it. you can win tickets and stuff to it. i have to get my next oil change by new years day, 2006. what will i be doing that day i wonder?
watching conference [lds big old semi-annual get-together] with barry, ben, ryan, vance, and jared. it's good. now add chelsey and jess. vance is one of my roommates. he talks/acts/laughs just like dustin. he works for congressman bishop. he likes chelsey.
getting a car wash was like living in a living nightmare. nothing is easy here. oil change, car wash, parking, mexican food, walmarts, miles of main streets lined with businesses. none of this stuff exists here.
i firmly believe we have a soul.
run: 17:00 min, 7.5 spd, 2.10 miles
ride: 20:24 min, 82 rpm, 6.0 miles
so today was a weird one. sick as a freaking dog. i'm sure it's because it gets so cold in this room at night and in the morning. i felt it coming on yesterday. this is very bad timing because tomorrow and the half day on thursday are going to be busy. and now i'll probably be sick while kim is here.
this is how flat this whole place is. i walked this trail tonight by my apartment and after walking for about eight minutes, reagan international comes in view and its massive control tower is just sitting right there. i've lived here three weeks now and this night was the first time seeing the control tower. i've gotten lost all over the place so you'd think i'd see a control tower within two miles of my apartment. and i want to go into detail about what a retard my roommate is, but i'm dying here. need sleep. night.
tissues, envelopes, medicine
...
i'm still really sick, but a tad better than last night. either way i called in sick today for work. i get a total of three sick days so i'm doin ok.
...
waiting for a computer to open up so i can get online today. jared is supposedly getting a laptop and is talking about getting internet, so we'll see.
...
kim is finally here. it's like she is a stranger to me. she looks and smells and just seems so different. so good to have her here. the hyatt is pretty sweet. a few complaints, but anything is better than my random roommates.
i feel like a lot of people in this apartment complex are just temporary.
...
i love virginia tech. i want them to play usc in the rose bowl and dominate them. won't happen because of texas, but would still be cool. rain, rain nonstop. it sucks. is it rude to scan through someone’s ipod songs when they weren't looking? we got gangstas rollin up on this biotch. "i ain't studda nigga." kim can't decide which black guy is the better looking out of the six or seven standing here. [illegible] tonight's weather has been so nice and chilly. i do believe that i am now a fan of the cold. then again, i do believe i've always had a thing for sf weather. i know that the courts have said that native americans can smoke peyote. so does that mean da rasta mon can light the ganj? if so, you can bet a spike in new faithfuls.
i swear i just saw jesse jackson in the hotel lobby. i like movies where the entire cast is black. from amistad to barbership to the color purple. [illegible].
Batman Begins (2005): not as "dark" as everyone said it was. [illegible] didn't like the tank. would rather have the batmobile. cheesey lines. cool special effects. not worth seeing though. liam neeson gets an A+. morgan freeman rocks the shiz-ouse! he's got the best lines in the movie. didn't see enough gotham city like the others. it was as much as a character as batman has been. batman's voice was really gay. much better than clooney though. the first two will always be the greatest. [wow, i can't read any of this]
i'm so in the mood for plain double cheeseburgers from mcd right now. all i've been doing is eating through since k got here. brunch with brak and sky = good. delicious, heated, and at a sucky time. tom jefferson's memorial is cool. one of my favs.
